SOLVED AMD 6800 XT lag/stuttering with Topaz GP AI

I got the latest build of the topaz and i could not run it on my AMD hackintosh.It was crashing.

More digging and found out i needed amdfriend. Ran amdfriend on topaz app and patched it and then the app started working.

In the latest build , the topaz app works perfectly in GPU and CPU mode. No lag or stuttering.

I was using an older build of topaz , because of certain features.

so the issue is with the older build of the app. Its buggy.

This issue can be closed.

Glad you were able to fix the issue.

As mentioned before, the Topaz plugin might have issues and when running on AMD CPU was the main cause. As you've patched it and running the latest release, it should be stable.
