Hello. I am new on this forum, but not in this hackworld ))
I am planning to install macOS Monterey on my new built:
Gigabyte Z590 Vision D
Core i9 11900K
Asus RX 6600 XT Dual OC
2x16Gb Corsair Vengeance 3600MHz
SSD's:
Kingston KC3000 for macOS Monterey
Samsung 970 EVO for Windows 11
WD SN750 for macOS data
Your hardware is compatible. The least you would require is Monterey 12.4.
I found some EFI folders for my motherboard on the internet and tried to boot the installed Monterey on Samsung SSD.
Not the best idea. Instead, you should create your own configuration for your specific hardware.

Start here:
I know about the TRIM issue.
Yes, either disable TRIM or replace the SSD with a compatible one.

Hello. I started from 0 with the latest opencore.
I was able to install macOS Monterey 12.6 with iMacPro1,1 SMBIOS.
But I can not check or setup all my hardware :(
After I provide the password I have an instant reboot. And I am in the loop with it.
Here is my EFI folder.

I really need help .

BTW, I can not reset NVRAM. "AllowNvramReset" and "ToogleSIPenable" don't work anymore. I am on OC 0.8.5.

Update. Seems I found my problem. I think it was a bad boot arg. for ethernet, I used dk.e1000=0 but now it is e1000=0.

Now I need to configure Thunderbolt in my mobo.

How do populate the NVRAM reset and SIP enable buttons in OC 0.8.5?

Does not work in OC 0.8.5
