Your configuration is not as per the guide.

Remove the Framebuffer name from DeviceProperties. Better to completely delete the devices.
Disable algrey PAT patch and enable Shaneee PAT patch in Kernel section.

Also, you should map your USB ports.

1. The framebuffer name was by default Radeon. I tried changing. it made no difference.
2. I will look into disabling algrey PAT patch and enabling shanee PAT patch

Thanks.

The configuration should be as clean as possible. Secondly, it could be an issue with the Plugin itself.

Yes could be , but why does it make the system lag when there is enough resources available.

This is whats been bothering me a lot.
Also , The topaz GAI app works fine on Original macs. No one has reported any issues with it.

Does the whole system lags even when you don't use Topaz plugin?

Did you actually tried it at your end?

No it does not lag when Topaz is not running. system is quite stable and fast.

Lag only when i use Topaz with GPU enabled in the app. There is option for CPU and GPU. The CPU option works fine. Only when i enable GPU option , whole system lags.

I don't have a mac to test it for myself.

Well, then once you implement the changes, it could be just due to being AMD or the issue in the plugin itself.
