What should i do in the PlatformInfo page?
It is set to iMac19,1 by default from the opencorepkg file sample.plist.

Please advise me a System product name according to my hardware and target OS of Monterey.

My Hardware
Dell Inspiron 15R SE 7520
Intel Core i5 3230M / Intel Ivy Bridge HM77 Series

MacBookPro9,2 is the ideal choice.

Finally i'm done configuring the config.plist and the OC Validator showing 18 Errors.

Is it acceptable? or should i solve them?

Please refer the attached image for the reference.

Hi,
i done everything as per your instruction and the Guides.

1. I used the smbios of MacBookPro11,2 and booted.
Received an error message as attached .

this version of mac os x is not supported on this platform!
reason: MAC-3CBD00234E554E41
MAC-3CBD00234E554E41 is the motherboard code of MacBookPro11,2 .
as per the article "https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT212551" , MBP 11,2 is not supported for the Monterey.

2. Then i again generated the smbios of MacBookPro12,1 and used it for boot.
This time Boot arguments are running and got a weird error screen.
Refer the attached 2 images.

can you please look in to my EFI and find the issue?

Hello,

Here are the issues.

Make the following changes in your config.plist

- Disable ResetLogoStatus in ACPI>Quirks section
- Set Hibernate Mode to None in Misc>Boot section

From BIOS, make sure that the SATA Mode is set to AHCI. If already set, add CtlnaAHCIPort.kext

Once you're done with the above changes, save your config.plist. Reset NVRAM twice and boot into the installer.

Also, note that Port Limit is broken since Big Sur 11.3. So, you'll need to try all the USB ports. Or you can try to enable XhciPortLimit Quirk in Kernel section. Once installed, it is advised to map the USB ports.

Hello,

Here are the issues.

Make the following changes in your config.plist

- Disable ResetLogoStatus in ACPI>Quirks section
- Set Hibernate Mode to None in Misc>Boot section
Disabled the ResetLogoStatus and sett the Hibernation Mode to None ✅

From BIOS, make sure that the SATA Mode is set to AHCI. If already set, add CtlnaAHCIPort.kext
From Bios it's already set to the AHCI for SATA OPERATIONS. ✅

Once you're done with the above changes, save your config.plist. Reset NVRAM twice and boot into the installer.
After the above changes, saved the config.plist.
Resetted NVRAM twice and booted into the installer.

Same error Screen shown with the not permitted icon in the Center. See the attachment.
