If you don't use A17 bios, upgrade to it, because my SSDT's are based on it. I have pretty much everything enabled in it like VT-x, VT-d etc.Glad to see some more folks with T3500s. Another user with T3500 and I have both been trying various different configs to get OpenCore Big Sur working. So far we have got working USB and all, but a stuttering issue that makes it so the computer freezes for half a second frequently and causing it to be unusable. Not to mention, the BIOS resets itself whenever shutting down or rebooting, though reboots hang obviously.
If there's anything we can do to help the development here and get the T3500 working, let us know! We are definitely keeping an eye out on this thread to see if there are any updates/successes. Thanks!
Regarding the CMOS reset issue, the original RTC device must be disabled via SSDT and then RTC0 (as example) must be created with different properties.
Reboot doesn't work for me too, but it doesn't reset the BIOS (because RTC is patched). The shutdown works when it wants, but it doesn't reset the BIOS (because RTC is patched).
The sleep however (with proper power management via C & P states) resets it and also disables the NIC, idk why, but I don't put it to sleep and don't have to deal with it.
I managed to get USB 2.0 only to work both with and without USB map. However USB 1.1 (UHCI controllers) doesn't work properly. With USB map, plist patch and Single User Mode they work, but after booting back to normal mode, they sometimes work and sometimes don't, if I unplug and plug the USB 1.1 devices back they don't work until reboot, software update in settings also disconnected them, causing me to reboot. This is why I got the 5 EUR USB 2.0 Hub as a workaround of this issue. I'd be happy to know how you managed to get USB 1.1 ports to work.
Here's my OC EFI setup. I toggled verbose boot, disabled the Emulated NVRAM, added descriptions to the SSDTs, removed my serial, uuid etc. The dropped OEM SSDT may have different string to replace, and the msu-product-url is needed upon install and updates (it's a base64 encoded string).
Till the end of July I'll write a guide for Big Sur install on T3500 with the latest OC.
