Random freezes, reboots and sleep not working after adding Graphic card

SMBIOS info are not missing, I remove them out of habit when posting my EFI folder

I will apply the changes to the plist, delete preference files, reset NVRAM twice and post a new set fo PR files

Oups missed it...Head banging smiley then, this one is definitely missing and I could have used it a few times

I did two cold boots since making the changes. One just a few seconds after shutting down and a second one 10 minutes after shutting down and.... I finally had no reboot/panic combo it looks like the last changes made the trick, it's awesome. If I have no panic tomorrow morning,I'll tweak the bios as per the video you provided and I'll finally be able to focus on TB which is the last piece of the jigsaw. Would you mind if I use this thread for TB too? That will be for tomorrow though.

It is but I only applied the settings you suggested after reset:
- Disable Fast Boot
- Enable Intel Virtualization Technology
- Disable VT-d
- Disable IGPU.
+ Disabling Thunderbolt

I watched the video for ASrock BIOS and there seem to be a few more other things to do. Should I do it or just leave BIOS as such since Mac OS boots fine now?

Okay, leave everything intact and keep monitoring the freezing issue on cold boot and/or during system usage.

Just wanted to report that I did a new installation of MacOS with the modified EFI and it went perfectly well.

I'm not having freezes or reboot+panic at boot but I'll monitor during the weekend to make sure it's stable before tweaking the BIOS.

I have noticed however that sidecar does not work anymore but it was to be expected as iGPU is disabled where it's usually enabled on an iMac. Is there any way I can make the Hack behave like a real iMac by turning on iGPU or using another trick?

Another thing: In general, when making changes to the EFI partition or to the BIOS, should I always reset NVRAM twice or there are scenarios where resetting it once is sufficient?

Yes it does sound really good and I think the system is stable now, I've been running it all day and had no issues.

Tell me more please, I'm really curious as I do use my iPad as an extended display quite often and can't for the moment
