There might have been confusionI'm using the following order, you said it was ok I think
SSDT-EC-USBX.am
SSDT-AWAC.aml
SSDT-PLUG.aml
SSDT-DTGP.aml
SSDT-TB3HP.aml
But I'll change according to your latest recommendations and check
That's a wrong approach unless a system specifically needs it.True, I extracted them from my system's DSDT and I use the SSDT-EC-USBX generated by Hackintool when creating USBPorts.kext;
Why? I asked you to use the ones from the OC package.I'll never to the ones in OC package and disable the graphics renaming.
Okay. Fix the above issue first and only this thing shall remain.Bought the card used on Ebay but the buyer told me it had not been overclocked and no adapters are used; the display is connected directly to the graphic card with a DisplayPort cable. Also I could try to flash the VBIOS but it seem old (2019) and the motherboard'a BIOS is the latest one
Yeah, correct. Use SSDT-AWAC-DISABLEPS: there is no SSDT-AWAC.aml in the OC package but another one:SSDT-AWAC-DISABLE.aml
RTC0 is not required for your system. RTC0 is required where SSDT-AWAC is not applicable, which requires variable STAS to be present.Should I use this one or use the one available on Github or SSDT-RTC0.aml which is in the package and is equivalent to AWAC.aml apparently?
autocorrect never= revertWhy? I asked you to use the ones from the OC package.
Sounds good!Changes have been made. I'll report back![]()
Oh, damn. Thank you for reporting, it was reported by another user too. We're working on the server end. Although, we've applied a quick fix to it. Can you use the forum link below to track the issue for the password reset issue? Not related: there is an issue with the forum and I need to reset my password every time I want to log back in after closing my browser
Seems right.Still trying to solve the cold boot issue and disabled Thunderbolt in BIOS, disabled SSDT-DTGP.aml, SSDT-TB3HP.aml and the ACPI rename patches and cleared NVRAM for testing.
So, when you disable SSDT-DTGP and SSDT-TB3HP, it works perfectly, without any kernel panics?I then shut down the computer for about 30 min and booted again: no panic and the Hack booted to desktop. Did a couple of other tests, first shutting down and rebooting the Hack after one hour then after two hours and had the same results so I thought the issue was gone and that the SSDT-DTGP.aml, SSDT-TB3HP.aml still needed some tweaking.
That is so weird. Provide info of your GPU using GPU-Z Tool.Unfortunately, after shutting down the Hack yesterday evening and booting it up this morning the panic happened again :banghead:
Also I checked with the guy from whom I bout the card and he confirmed it has never been overclocked, also checked with CPU-Z and the VBIOS is up to date.
Not quite, as expressed after this bit it worked when cold booting after 30 min, 1 hour and two hours but happened again in the morning (Hack was shut down during the night)So, when you disable SSDT-DTGP and SSDT-TB3HP, it works perfectly, without any kernel panics?
I know... told you, the forum needs a :banghead: smileyThat is so weird. Provide info of your GPU using GPU-Z Tool.
