Hi, I'm a bit disappointed, I can't work out where the error came from. I'm starting to wonder if I don't have a problem with my gpu itself;

I was previously on smbios 20.2 but I couldn't work and when I read a topic on the subject
https://elitemacx86.com/threads/ran...ep-not-working-after-adding-graphic-card.846/ (although I didn't have the same error)
but the same syptoms.
As indicated I switched to 7.1 and made the necessary adjustments and it seemed to work. I thought I'd put an end to the problem but it's just happened again, albeit less regularly. Now it's just as random but less regular. From what I've seen and what I think I see, it seems to come from playing youtube videos. For example, it just did it to me when I finished playing a video.

It seems to come from the dGPU, or at least the ''vsync'' video decoding passage, with the Igpu disabled. I had already noticed this with 20.2 igpu activated headless. I'm going to try and force it to do this tomorrow and try and recover this log. I do, however, have my old smbios 20.2 log.

The symptoms are the same, the wheel starts and after a few seconds freezes; the activity LED on my computer case is racing like crazy. From that moment either I have a complete hardreboot or I get a way of recovering log error when I come back to macos (I haven't been able to recover it yet), or my screen with the mouse wheel freezes and macos does a sort of kill all and restarts all the apps. A bit like disconnecting a user. I get a kind of glitch where I see the Apple logo and a loading bar. Then the desktop comes back without the computer rebooting completely. But with all my apps that redemare.

Previously I had an rx 570 so I went from catalina to ventura when I got my 6800xt by doing a migration via usb key installer. It's not a pure clean install. But I have all my work and applications so I did a migration install I guess.

Oh yes I forgot my gpu was under pci bridge so I had patch via a ssdt brg0.

I hope that reading this will help someone to give me some ideas. I'm a bit confused I must admit.
I add my old 20,2 panic log with my actual efi 7,1.

Is the system freezing or restarting abruptly?

Hi, So it never suddenly reboots. It always freezes before rebooting, like 30 seconds. I've got the mouse turning into a ball. I can vaguely try to click right to left on the menu. And after 15 seconds the balloon freezes, the screen also freezes and 15 seconds later. Either it really restarts and i have the panic log on the macos start, or the system kills all apps and restarts a new session, like a log off/on. I see an apple logo with glitch color with a loading bar as if it was booting macos. But isnt a complete reboot. I see very well, because it does not go through the bios and via opencore launcher. Today it didn't do that. Well, it's made me freeze mouse balloon at least a dozen times. Without killing all the applications. Without freezing/stuck,. I needed to get on with my work today.

Tonight I'm going to try and make it crash. I'm going to plug in my 3 monitors and launch 4 yt twitch streaming videos. and launch my 3 versions of photoshops. It didn't take me 15 minutes when I was on 20.2 to see it panic.

In any case, what's obvious is that the move to 7.1 has improved things. I hope to bring you back the log.

Well, it doesn't seem to want to crash... ^^
Last night I completely uninstalled Istat menu which usefull for me. Maybe that was the reason. I know that monitoring consumes resources. I will try to reinstall it.
I've looked into this but haven't found any problems with freeze/reboot and istat.

However, there is a problem that I'm starting to see, which doesn't necessarily have to do with my freezes. When I plug in an extra screen on a started mac os, 50 % chances are that all my screens turn off and never turn back on. The system continue to running I can listening of audio from video. I don't do this very often, so I've just realised it now.

its just happen; freeze and reboot. just after opening yt video in fullscreen. Look like to be logd and a cpu panic ?

In the opencore doc on the ssdt-plug, they indicate I should have plugin-type | Number | 0x1 in my first PR00 thread, which is not in my case.

I removed CpuFriend for testing.
I read common report problem with that panic, and it isnt clear what happens here. It seems could be a macOS bug.

Got back today.

So, upon checking the configuration, it's not as per the guide and the problems are expected due to that.
