GUIDE How to Enable Intel UHD Graphics 620/630 on Laptop

Hi,
I have a lenovo ideapad s-145, unfortunately there is no option in the BIOS to set DVMT, is there any other way to achieve this?
Thanks

Hi, just also looking for some help with the resolution with my laptop.

I am running UHD 620 successully via the platform-id: 59160009 however my internal display resolution is 1366x768, instead of 1080p as the laptop allows. I have just realised this might be an issue because my laptop is 15.5" and the Laptop specified in my about this mac is only 13"? the SMBIOS i am using is macbook pro 15,2 as I have read this is the best for this laptop.

Any help would be great! Thanks

PS: also have a fair few other problems that I can't seem to fix, I am new to this and kind of just learning as I go.

Framebuffer patching is the alternative option for that. Your profile is incomplete. Include your Laptop model in the Motherboard field.

No resolution indicated in your profile. Incomplete PR files attached. Attach complete PR files.

A forum moderator has fixed your profile. You mentioned the CPU speed in the Motherboard field. The framebuffer patch has been already present in all the config.plist. Follow the guide here: https://www.elitemacx86.com/threads...ller-on-laptops-using-clover-uefi-legacy.177/

Thanks for looking,

I am not sure where to add the resolution in my profile here? But I believe I have now added the correct PR files.

Once again, any help would be amazing.

Thanks

No kextcache output attached. The resolution seems to be 1366x768. I doubt if your Laptop actually supports 1920x1080. The ig-platform-id used in the device section is 591B00000 and in the Graphics section, Inject Intel has been set to on and 59160009 is the ig-platform-id which is invalid. Only use one. If you're having issue with the backlight, use 59160009 in the device section and turn off Inject Intel and remove the ig-platform-id from the Graphics section.

MB15,2 is a poor choice for this hardware. Use MBP14,1.

Remove the .dsl files from ACPI/patched. The SSDT "SSDT-XCPM" must be removed as the property has been already injected via config.plist.

Use one choice. Either Full set patching or partial. Do NOT mix. For more information, check your work here: https://www.elitemacx86.com/threads/guide-how-to-patch-laptop-dsdt-and-ssdts.178/

Duplicate drivers folder. With the latest Clover, drivers64 and drivers64UEFI should not be present. Some unnecessary drivers are also installed.
Follow the guide here for fixing the Clover directory: https://www.elitemacx86.com/threads...ller-on-laptops-using-clover-uefi-legacy.177/
