hi all,

I am trying to boot into macOS Mojave 10.14.6 but I get a still waiting for root device error and can't boot in due to that with a patched DSDT. I don't know why NOR how to fix it, I followed the DSDT/SSDT patching guide the best I can but I tbh have NO experience doing that or much Hackintosh/Mac experience period, this laptop is proving a pain in the rear to patch for ACPI. Please help, thank you.

P.S. I attached my EFI folder too just incase.

Try to reset your BIOS, and extract a fresh ACPI. Make sure to delete the previous ones.

Try injecting port limit patch. Make sure your SATA Controller is supported. If not, use SATAUnsupported.kext.

With the DSDT removed, are you able to boot the system?

yes I'm able to boot with no DSDT or SSDT, those are the only things missing atm.

What patches you have applied to your DSDT?

just a dell battery patch and the common patches, even without the battery patch and just the common patches it does same error/issue

When using DSDT, the ACPI must be patched fully. You should start fresh and make the notes of what patches are you applying.
