I've fixed the issue, as well as my audio problem. The two problems I have left are that I cannot change the brightness and I cannot see the battery percentage of my laptop.

Hey there! Thank you so much for writing such a detailed guide. There are not many of them out there, and especially not authors that actually reply to their comments!
My graphics are unfortunately not working, and this is one of the last things before my new Macbook is completely finished (hurray)! I have 620 graphics and an 8145U. I have done everything in your steps here, but they aren't working quite yet. If you could help me, I would be eternally grateful!

Your file seems to be large. Make sure you're omitted the themes folder.

Following your guide here, using one of RehabMan's plist for the 620 graphics makes the screen turn off, while the rest of the laptop stays on. How can I combat that?
