As it is not. You can clearly see that a container disk5 has a partition with the name Untitled. You must delete that partition.
But after formatting the partition as another format (I chose exFat), you still can't really erase it (unless I'm missing something):Sometimes, it is not possible to delete a volume from a container. In such case, format the volume as a different File System than APFS and then delete the partition.

That was the goal!It is "erased", but in the sense that it's formatted again, not actually deleted
If you see, there is no option to delete the volume. Try to format the Untitled Volume as APFS. Quit Disk Utility, open it again and provide a screenshot.
