I only use Thunderbolt for audio with my Apollo Twin. That's all I plan on using it with for now.
Not necessary to flash. Just use Hotplug and you're good to go.

Hmm. I have the hotplug and everything pointing to the AIC. The card is recongized in the system but the audio interface isn't being recognized at all.

The speed shouldn't be 0Gb/s. Update your TB firmware from Windows and test the Interface in Windows. The ideal slot location for your Motherboard is Slot 4. Disable TB SSDTs. Install it in Slot 4 and. provide a complete PR files, attached in one single .zip file.

Updated the TB firmware version to the latest one I could find. The interface was still recognizable on windows. I disabled the TB SSDTs. Here's the PR with the SSDTs disabled.

It shouldn't show as Express Card and bandwidth to 0Gb/s. What TB Card are you using? And which firmware?

I'm using ASUS Thunderboltex 3-TR (15EB) on NVM firmware 56. Here's what the control center shows too.
