BIOS settings seems fine for TB.

The guide already explains it. What point are you not able to understand?

This part, my path is rp21.UPSB, not PXSX but I changed PXSX to UPSB, nothing happen,

You first need to disable the SSDT. SSDTs are being injected for TB. That's the reason you have UPSB and DSB0.

I am having Hot-plug issues with Sleep with UAD Apollo Audio Interface as I described in this post.
Also, Interface has to be on before computer starts.
I attach zip File with Problem Reporting files.
Maybe you can look at it and get back to me with a solution. Thanks

Does Hotplug normally works?

Set GPIO Force Pwr to Enabled in BIO Settings and then check.

Hello. Very interesting tutorial but despite following it I have some issues.

Just for contextualization I try on a hackintosh of my father to make work the thunderbolt 3 hotplug of his CG gigabyte alpine ridge card with MacOS Monterey.

I already followed the tutorial to flash and flash the card and i'm sure i do not broke the card cause thunderbolt card still works on boot.

But despite my trying I can not understand certain step in your tutorial.

For example I arrive just like you at the part "Getting ACPI path" found the ACPI path (it is exactly the same by luck).

I also arrive in "Obtaining Sample Thunderbolt SSDT" recovered the SSDT from the Gigabyte CG-Alpine Ridge.

On the other hand at "Changing the ACPI path" I cannot understand why you changed in your tutorial "PCI0" to "PC00".

I tried in my attempts both to change or not and only when I left "PCI0" as the default that I see things changed in IOReg (There is the PXSX which disappears when I leave PCI0 but from what I could understand in the SSDT it is something that i want).

After in "Slot Configuration" I can not understand the notion of Slot. Does each PCIE slot have a number on my motherboard? Is it somewhere in MacOS or Hackintool that we can see the slot number? Does the Slot number have any real importance on the smooth running of everything?

I have beautiful suddenly reread this tutorial through and through and tried lots of small variations (kind tested all the slot numbers that I can) but each time I try to plug a thunderbolt device into MacOS nothing happens...

Maybe I did something wrong and that really I can not notice but hey ! I am now here to ask for some help please.

Anyway had a nice day.

It's simple. As our path was PC00 and your one is PCI0 ;)

Of course, when you implement the SSDT for Hotplug, PXSX will not appear anymore in the IOReg or the system.

Slot configuration is purely cosmetic but several times it is needed while you debug. Yes, buit-in and PCIe Slot matters.

No idea without PR files. You should consider attaching them.

Well at least I think I made a success of the part of the way in the SDTT with what you said ^^

On the other hand suddenly I would be delighted to give you a PR files but by what do you mean by PR ??? (i guess it's logs and systems files but which ???)

Yes, Hotplug normally works, and GPIO is enabled.
Basically the Audio Interface has to be ON at all times in order to stay "online", while the computer goes to sleep. If I shut down the Interface before or while the computer is sleeping, it will not come back after sleep.
Then I have to shut down and restart both, computer and Interface, to get it back online.
