Sad news – 60Hz refresh rate came and went

I've got Win 11 on another internal NVMe drive and the loss of display quality occurred after rebooting from Windows. Tried NVRAM clearing and restarting.



Next I'm going to try using framebuffer-alldata parameters. Should the parameter be set for all connectors or just for HDMI and DP?

DPCD needs to be defined since CFL. See "Invalid Maximum Link Rate" in the guide linked below.

LSPCON configuration is required since KBL for HDMI 2.0 Output.

And 60Hz is back on DP and interestingly 50Hz on HDMI (same as for Windows in which 60Hz gives black screen on HDMI) @4K. Robust after wake from sleep, but reverted to 30Hz after restart.



Re: DPCD – I've added the -igfxmlr boot arg and specified dpcd-max-link-rate per the guide.

Reverted to 30Hz in both DP and HDMI.

Note – this is the EFI from my OC boot usb, used for testing new configs. I booted from that and then generated the rest of the PR files. Is that ok process?

Update: getting 4k@60Hz on DP and 4k@50Hz on HDMI on first startup of the computer but not on restarts. Also, no audio from DP or HDMI.

I've just updated to 13.0.1 and OC 0.86.
