I have created the foundation USB installer for MacOS Ventura 13.0 22A380 using the createinstallmedia .

I have access to the EFI volume for the USB drive, and have added the bare minimum, and with suggested kexts that are likely compatible for my hardware using Opencore 1.04 from github...

I am uncertain if I could import the compiled DSDT etc files from my High Sierra EFI, but the iGPU is absolutely compatible with Ventura , but I do not know/comprehend the problem configuration in order to directly access the internal intel HD530.

Based upon cited references, it is even possible for me to receive full graphics acceleration, which is exciting. It seems that I may need to fake it into being interpreted as a different but compatible iGPU.

Several years ago, I recall (vaguely) using a similar method before having installed the Web drivers for High Sierra.

Please, would any of you have the information needed, in order to get this to work for my setup?

Thanks for reading my thread. Your responses are always appreciated.

So, this is mildly frusturating, but GenSMBIOS is broken. I have tried using it on Windows (with its batch file) and on my original macbook with that same network connection error. I need to find a method of filling in the SMBIOS section in the Opencore config.plist file without it, manually, because Its just a bit too much to rely upon someone else's server problems when your internet connection is just fine.

Also there doesn't seem to be any direct translation between network hardware models, and device-id. For example, my intel HD530, who knows what that translates to, because its for Skylake gen which needs to be faked for Kaby Lake intel HD 630 graphics, which is compatible for Ventura.

Dunno if anyone compiled that common Hardware ID and Device ID for Opencore.

My Ventura USB installer is almost ready, so close.
