Hey, I've recently installed Big Sur on my Acer Aspire E1-570 and everything works fine except the Ethernet Board (BCM57786). I've tried using kexts such as CatalinaEthernetBCM5701, but it didn't work. However, the farthest I got was with BCM5722.kext after I added my board's ID grabbed via Hackintool in it's .plist file, it detected the ethernet, but it says Self Assigned IP, and when I added my IP it said connected but didn't work. Thanks in advance!

Disable kext. Attach Hackintool PCIe Report.

Try FakePCIID+FakePCIID_BCM57XX_as_BCM57765.kext
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, it doesn't work. As far as I am aware, those 2 only work up to the latest version of OS X (Catalina). The Hackintool PCIE file is exactly the same.

Hmm. In that case, remove the previous work and try to spoof 14e4:16b3 to 14e4:16b4 and then check if it works. You can use Device Properties or the ACPI method. Whatever works for you.

I've added DeviceProperties > Add > PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1C,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0) > device-id = B4160000.
Is it supposed to work without any kexts? If so, it doesn't work.
Hackintool does see it as a BCM57765.

I still haven’t fixed this. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Attach the copy of IOReg.
