"An error occurred preparing the update"

I got this error everytime when I try to update my mac and this error occured at the last 1 min remaining ,is there is any way to fix because i don't want to format the disk because it hold some of my data , projects

Make sure your NVRAM is working. Clean the old Update files and try to upgrade again.

But i am not get clear nvram option in bootloader , and what do you mean by old update file ,do you mean macos Monterey installer app
