I installed MacOS Catalina a few days ago. The only thing that does not work properly is the battery indicator.

I created a patch using rehabman's guide on how to patch battery dsdt, using the patch i got the battery indicator to show but the battery meter does not update while plugged or unplugged.

The battery percentage only updates after a reboot , and also the percentage is accurate as i compared it with my windows 10 battery percentage.

I am attaching my original DSDT, patched DSDT and EFI folder please have a look and let me know what can I do to get this solved.

Fix your profile. In Motherboard, you should mention your Laptop model no.

Updated the profile

I am sorry but am new in Hackintoshing so not much familiar with these things.

I found the way to post PR files from tonymacx86 site

Here are my PR files.

Also one more thing right now I am booted to the MacOS BigSur.

On Catalina the battery started to work perfectly now.

But on BigSur again I am facing the same issue.

Battery indicator does not update.

Your configuration is not as per the guide.

Remove abm_firstpolldelay=64000 from your boot args and then reset and check.

Removed the boot flag but still getting the same behavior for the battery.

I don't understand why on Catalina Everything works perfectly but on BigSur this battery meter does not update.

Followed the guide and created full DSDT+SSDT patch , I patched all the common patches recommended for DSDT and SSDT .

But now I lost my brightness and the battery indicator is stuck at 100% forever.

Please help

Attaching PR and EFI
