Battery Indicator is shown but not updating after boot on MacOS BigSur 11.0.1

After creating the hotpatch SSDT will i have to include the patched DSDT also,
or the SSDT for battery. patch will be enough?
When using Hotpatch, DSDT is not required at all.
Sorry for asking such stupid question but i have never tried a hotpatch so was concerned whether to use dsdt and ssdt together after hotpatching or the ssdt itself is enough.
I guess what are you asking, that's the purpose of this forum!

I have one issue left with my hackintosh i.e whenever i shutdown or restart the macos

my machine shuts like i have pressed the power button and forcing shutdown,
Check for the diagnostic reports if there's any KP.
But applying the Fix RTC patch to my dsdt fixes this issue , and then another issue rises that is the battery indicator freezes to a certain percentage and never updates.
Use RTC patch. For HP there are three patches.

Thank you so much for helping.

One final question

Can i use macos as my daily driver. Will it be safe?

I dont like to use windows anymore.

Where can i find this patch.

It is not present in Rehabman's patch repo.

Can you please give a link to that patch.

The RTC fix patch just changes the hex value from 0x08 to 0x02.

But after searching for where the RTC values are being used i found that they were being used in EC query and that might be the reason the battery freezes.

Have a look at the below screenshot, can you find a way to solve this.

That's a custom patch. I'll update a thread for HP Laptops soon.

Actually, here is the fix. This works on most of the new HP Laptops and Mini PC.

Use the following patches.

TableSignature*: DSDT
Find: 47017000 70000108
Replace: 47017000 70000102
Comment: RTC Fix

Identifier*: com.apple.driver.AppleRTC
Base: __ZN8AppleRTC18setupDateTimeAlarmEPK11RTCDateTime
Comment: Disable RTC wake scheduling
Replace: C3
MinKernel: 19.0.0
Enabled: YES

Enable DisableRtcChecksum under Kernel section.
