[SOLVED] Lenovo Z500 audio issue

I followed this guide to enable my audio but in the inserting inject step it listed multiple layout IDs in the reference page
my audio codec is Realtek ALC269VC
which layout ID should I test?

I tested layout ID = 3 in the clover but it doesn't show anything in the output tab of sound after restart
should I test every layout ID?

Here are some of the issues

• Layout ID=5 is injected instead of 3.
• UEFI directory is not as per the guide.
• WEG is old. Update it to latest.

I tested it from 1 to 5 but it didn't fix
what part of UEFI is incorrect?

When you submit PR files, it must be the same what you tested for.

The recommended drivers are missing. Check the installation guide.

WEG means WhateverGreen.

I updated WEG and reason for USBInjectAll.kext deletion was this post should I put it back and lose the USB wifi module again?

should I place patched SSDT and DSDT in the patched folder before doing these and completing the layout ID patch?

Not required.

From the properties, the audio one, remove # from layout.

Yes, if you have completed DSDT and SSDT patching.
