Hello, I have a problem with big sur on intel i7 4770k, I would use this integrated gpu but its on VGA so it doesn't work for some reason

I have an r7 240 laying around and i though to make it work so I can try this os properly

I have followed dortania guide for faking the cpu and I compiled the asl file with my bios name in it. I left the fake id at 67 as it is the same gpu that they use in the article, they use r7 240 and they fake it to r9 390

I also have whatever green 1.5.1 version but it wont work. The config xml file in the efi folder has the key for loading the spoof gpu. I get the gpu identified at my correct resolution but it's on 8MB of vram and there is no acceleration.

I attached my efi folder in case it may be of relevance. Thank you.

VGA isn't supported and it will not work. Use a digital connection like DP/HDMI. DVI to HDMI/DP can work.

Your configuration is not as per the guide so do not expect things to work. It's already explained in the main guide.

Start here:

Once you have the proper EFI, update the thread and make sure to attach the new EFI.
