Hello. I'm happy owner of laptop Dell Latitude E5570 with i5-6440HQ (Skylake, HD530). Finally I've upgraded from Monterey to Ventura, spoofed SKL->KBL graphics device-id.
That was in config.plist on Monterey
Here is new config.plist on Ventura
Opencore boots without any issues, VDADecoderChecker says "Hardware acceleration is fully supported" but I noticed terrible color banding in all of gradients. Seems like I have only 8 bit display mode. I tried a different device-id/platform-id for Laptop Skylake, but haven't had success(((
Also for tests I changed device-id to old that was on Monterey to not use spoofing and colors became perfect!!! But there was no HW acceleration((( I need to have perfect gradients and HW acceleration work together. How to fix this problem? Thanks for help
