Hi everyone,

I’ve been running macOS Sequoia 15.6 on my laptop for about 2 months now, and it’s been working great overall. The only thing I really had to install post-OS setup was HeliPort and the necessary kexts for Wi-Fi, which have been working perfectly.

Yesterday, I decided to finally try getting Bluetooth working. I followed the Bluetooth guide here on the forum, and after some time and effort, I got it up and running — I can pair and use Bluetooth devices just fine.

However, I'm now experiencing a problem:
When the Bluetooth kexts are enabled in my config.plist, my internal audio no longer works.
Interestingly, if I connect a Bluetooth headset, audio works flawlessly through that. But internal speakers are completely dead unless I remove the Bluetooth kexts from the config.

What I’ve Done So Far:

  • Running macOS Sequoia 15.6 (Hackintosh)
  • Installed Bluetooth kexts based on the guide here
  • Bluetooth devices pair and work without issue
  • Internal audio only breaks when Bluetooth kexts are active
  • Using HeliPort for Wi-Fi (which still works fine)

My Experience Level:

I have a strong background in PC building and configuration, but I’m still pretty new to the Hackintosh/macOS side of things.

Request:

I’d like help troubleshooting how to get internal audio working again without disabling Bluetooth.

Please let me know:

  • What logs, screenshots, or files would be most helpful (e.g., EFI folder, config.plist, IOReg, kextstat, etc.)
  • Any ideas on why the audio is being affected
  • If there’s a known conflict between certain Bluetooth and audio kexts
I’m happy to upload whatever you need — just point me in the right direction.

Thank you all in advance for your help!
