It's still working so you shouldn't have any issues.

When I start my computer with this specific Kext on macOS Monterey the system gives a kernel error and does not start, for the system to start correctly I had to remove this kext for the system to start, everything works but without wi-fi on macOS Monterey.

But I'm currently on Mojave, so I'm trying to get any latest version that's supported.

You can definitely upgrade to Monterey. The first step would be to prepare OpenCore EFI and you can proceed further.
