Every time my battery dies, the capacity changes. Yesterday I had 948mah as the capacity. Today I have 1248mah simply because the battery died and i charging it again from its dead state and that's how it behaves. What confuses me the most is that it behaves like this regardless of the OS I'm running. I spoke to a friend that repairs Laptop(hardware) and he said my best bet would be to replace the battery it's not a bad. If i buy a replacement battery i might use windows 10 and Linux with ac/battery and use mac os with ac until the its patched! 🤔

This is a common issue with many HP Laptops. Especially the Pavilion series. If it's same in Windows 10, two reasons.
1. The battery replacement is needed.
2. Battery still has capacity and power but the mosfet which handles the battery charging, is defective.

I don't know how I managed to skip this 😁... Where do we go from here i mean what do you think is best... Should I take it to repair shop or seek a battery replacement?. Once again thanks for bringing me up to this point. I even get higher score in my Catalina than windows 10 before and after I undervolted... (Cinebench: from about 112+ to 1346) and using hwmonitorsmc, it shows that my cpu voltage is always between 0.53-0.57v

If the problem is solved, try to monitor it. If not, better to take it to some repair shop. Cause it's very case that the battery is faulty. In such cases, battery either doesn't charges at all or charges upto some random percentage. If the shop confirms there's no any issue with your logic board, try to test your battery and if the battery is faulty, get it replaced.

The problem is still not solved yet i will take it to a different repair shop today! Because it charges and stops at random percentage

Okay, sure.

A guide will be posted soon to fix this issue.
