well... its been a while ☺. i changed my battery and Viola!!!! My old battery was bad now it shows the full capacity and charges well too... I uncommented the code i posted in one of my previous posts just incase. I only have two minor issues which are iMessage and the other issue is not my hackintosh's fault but dw1820a i will surely replace it ASAP (to make it run fine, i have to boot windows 10 first)... Every other thing seems fine now!!! I will upload pr files asap for checkup! Thanks once again @EliteMacx86 for the help!!! 🙌🙏

Nice!

Several requirements. SMBIOS and MLB plays an important role in the activation.
the other issue is not my hackintosh's fault but dw1820a
Some additional requirements are needed for this specific card. If i get some good time, i might create a separate guide for that.

Nice to hear. Cheers!

You're most welcome. All you need is to have patience, follow my guides carefully and attach the requested data. It's a fun! :)

Here are my current files... I have added some pci devices.. and i had to add ssdt-smbus before it worked... Applying it to DSDT didn't seem to work.

I see that you've done a good progress. I guess you meant when adding PCI devices, you were unable to boot. Once you added the SSDT-SMBUS, you were able to boot. Is that correct?

Here are some of the issues.
  • hda-gfx must be uncommented.
  • Audio layout must be injected in the Audio section and also enable Reset HDA.
  • I recommend to remove the NVIDIA patches in Devices section and patch the DSDT and SSDT for disabling NVIDIA.
  • Force kext to load must be deleted after installation.
  • The DSDT is already having SMBUS. No need to repatch it with SMBUS fix. Read about the duplicate patch. It can lead to non-bootable system.

The rest seems fine.

Thank YOU!!! Well!, with PCIe devices, i can boot normal... what i meant was that patching only smbus in dsdt shows that the smbus drivers aren't installed (in the system preference) but that changes if i add the smbus hotpatch for reasons i dont know yet..

I will uncomment the hda-gfx right away.

I decided to inject the audio layout using the devices section since i've always wanted to populate the pci tab in sys preference and i will check the reset hda too.

As for nvidia, i tried to use rehabman's guide to disable it but i couldnt find any off method in either my dsdt or ssdt... i copied the dsdt patch code and pasted it anyways and the apply button was greyed out (i guess that was because there was nothing to patch). Maybe the workarround will be to use ssdt-ddgpu.aml... i was too lazy to do the full patch so i stuck with partial hotpatch 😅

And finally i will disable the force kext to load then upload files after the tweaks

Try to remove that and only patch the SMBUS in your DSDT. Check if it works.

Cool.

Cool. However, i recommend to use that too. I always use both together. So even i delete any audio properties for testing Audio, it can work.

Did you tried the guide which i've written on the forum?

Sure.

****""Did you tried the guide which i've written on the forum?""

YES I tried the guide.. the one that involves finding the "grep -l Method.*_OFF *.dsl" but it didn't find any off method in the dsdt.

I removed the smbus hotpatch and system preference said that smBus drivers weren't installed so returned it.

I've done it and this is the new file.

I disassembled the ACPI files. I found the methods. Try the guide once more. If you get any issue, create a separate thread for it.

Okay.

Yes. But the Audio Layout ID is set to NO. Change it to 13.

I will try the guide again. Please help me with the files you disssembled let me compare it to mine... Sorry i forgot to change it to 13 before creating the pr file but I've done it

Okay. Create a separate thread for disabling NVIDIA Card.
