they're in post before that, here they are as well
Your TB Hotplug implementation seems to be fine. However, remove ThunderboltReset.kext and what TB Device you have to test?

Great thanks, I'll try removing that kext. I believe I've already tried it without but I'll give another shot.

A UAD-2 Satellite w thunderbolt like used in the guide.

What are your BIOS Settings? That works without any issues.

Copied the thunderbolt bios settings from here as closely as possible:

Otherwise just the usual changes like xmp profile 1, Legacy usb support disabled, make sure Vt-d, fastboot is disabled, XCHI enabled, set Other OS, etc.

Thunderbolt does work fine from a cold boot.

Settings looks good. So, where does TB doesn't works? After restart or after sleep?

Here's some results: I tried this using the above bios settings, optimized defaults, and a combination. Thunderboltreset.kext was removed. The results are the same:

If the TB device is connected when the computer is shut down then it will work normally, including through restarts. If it is disconnected at any point the computer will need to be shut down and TB device plugged back in while shut down before it can reconnect again.

Have not tested sleep as I don't plan to use it.

Attached is a screenshot of the IOreg report of the device when it is connected. Let me know if there is any other information I can provide, as I am not sure where to go next.

Do you have any other TB Device to test?

I do not, but I can try to find one. Anything else to try? Could you share your z590 Vision D settings? Maybe there's something I missed

To check a proper Hotplug, try the following.

Boot with TB connected and then disconnect and connect the TB.
