Very cool! I have a ThunderboltEX 4 card and seem to have everything working besides cold/warm boot. Hot plug and usb-c works but I don't have a Z590 motherboard so I'm missing the Thunderbolt header.

Actually, with our method, you don't need any header or even BIOS settings at all. And yes, it all works. For TBEX4, you don't need only 500 series motherboard. You can use the other compatible motherboards.

Yes, it should work. We tested ASUS TBEX4 and it works as expected.

I'm struggling to make my gc-tr aic work, but it doesn't work well, especially USB-C.
I don't know I understand this thread correctly, but a TB4 aic works just like a simple pcie board, which means to only need to be attached in a slot, right??
