This guide is good. But On my machine, CPU PM only works if I have 2 kexts :
* NullCPUPowerManagement.kext
* VoodooTSCSync.kext

If I'm using those kexts, it's not real PM?
If I remove NullCPUPowerManagement.kext, and follow this guide, PM is not working anymore.
NullCPUPowerManagement.kext is supposed to turn PM off but on my machine it turns it on, why ?

PM is so difficult to understand. So many kexts and methods and kernel patches. I would love a theoretical topics witch explain all that.

Use the SSDT for your specific CPU, remove NullCPUPowerManagement.kext. VoodooTSCSync.kext is required for the CPUs having more cores.

Hey, back with a proper PR:

Issue:

• No PM after following both methods
• CPU load seems to be full in Intel Power Gadget, but nothing heavy is running in activity monitor
• CPU Freq is always high, CPU temp is high
• 10.14.5
• 5820k / X99-UD4
• not sure how to provide a "Copy of IOReg", if needed please tell me

Other question:
The only way to achieve a PM is by using this kext: NullCPUPowerManagement.kext, with it my CPU is changing its Freq/Temp/Voltage on Intel Power Gadget, is it a good way to run my machine in term of performance and hardware durability?
