I did it. There a typo in the guide it's not "-agdpmod=pikera" but only "agdpmod=pikera". And it works! Sorry
Thanks for pointing it out. The typo is fixed now. Glad you have the display now :)

Hello,
I share with you a difficulty concerning a 2015 MacBook Pro and a Razer egpu with a radeon 6900 xt.
For information, I am not a computer expert… Sorry

My configuration :

Monterey 12.6.7 (21G651)
MacBook Pro 11,5 (Retina, 15 pouces, mi-2015)
2,8 GHz Intel Xeon quatre cœurs
16 Go 1600 MHz DDR3
AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2 Go
Intel Iris Pro 1536 Mo
Razor core X chroma
AMD Radeon Rx 6900 xt nitro + (flashed)
Open core patcher 0.6.7
Open core 0.9.3

The MacBook sees the card in the PCI section of the system report, but the driver is not available (driver not installed). However the original graphic drivers (kexts) in S/L/E are installed in the system.
The drivers seem not to load during boot, but the screen reacts slightly at the very beginning of the boot.
In IORegistryExplorer the Radeonx4000 drivers load under GFX@0 (for the dgpu I suppose) but not the Radeonx6000 neither there nor under the thunderbolt controllers… I admit I don't understand why…
I tried to deactivate the GPUs of the MacBook Pro (with SSDT and WhateverGreen commands) to see if one of the cards prevented the rx 6900 from mounting but without success… (I had crashes at startup or no result)
I explored a bit on the Gmux side but I don't understand how it can help me and how to activate or deactivate it...
I tried to remove the (kexts) but it doesn't seem possible...

The Radeon rx 6900 xt and Razer core X Chroma combo is perfectly functional with a Mac Pro 5.1 from 2010 equipped with a GC-TITAN RIDGE 2 (Thunderbolt 3) and an internal gpu rx 580 on Monterey 12.6.7 as well as OpenCore 0.9.3

Please do you have any idea or solution regarding this issue with MacBook Pro?
I am attaching screenshots to this message for better understanding.
Thank you in advance for your help

Hello,
Finally I found a solution with version 6.3.4 of purge-wrangler...
I thought it only worked with old AMD cards but it also works with a Razer core X chroma egpu and an amd radeon rx 6900 xt with thunderbolt 3 to 2 (Apple adapter). Purge-wrangler seems to be more stable without Open core (or without Kryptonite). I've been experimenting with After Effect and Stable diffusion and it works pretty well so far on my 2015 MBP and Mac OS Monterey...
Thank you for amazing work you do here

Hello,

I was going to recommend that but wanted to check the PR Files. Glad you were able to find a solution!

Cheers!

Hello,

I upgraded from a 5500XT to a 6900XT and now I have randon freezes (1-3 sec) and some wallpapers are corrupt after download (see picture).

Freezes got worse when I open Display Settings and I have the feeling that the freezes are worse when using Chrome Browser instead of Safari.

Moving the Display Setting Windoow the currupt backgrounds on the two small Screens gets more and more corruption.

Also the performance of 6900xt in generall is very bad - checked this with cinebench 24 and got less than half of metall score (3900 to 9000)

My config:

i9 10900kf
B560 Mainboard
64GB DDR4 3200
Fenvi 919 Wifi
iMac Pro 1.1 Open Core

Someone a Idea what the cause is?

*I attached my config.plist
Biostar Radeon 6900XT - it is brand new

Link to my EFI

Attach your EFI to check. What brand did you purchase and how have you connected the display? Also, is it a new or used unit?
