pretty basic open core per dortania guide + ssdt to rename usb controllers and wifi card for cosmetics (which I got from KGP's guide several years ago). The system works fine without these cosmetics stuff.

hello,

I had a running setup with RX 5700 XT and Opencore. Now I have a RX 6800 XT card and cant boot. The system stucks at apple logo without loading bar after Clover screen. Is there any possibility, that I add this kexts to my system or should I make a clean install?

Sorry, I didn't understand. What is a pr file? How can I build it?

My question was can I add this kexts and make changes on my current installation, which is not booting. I can land to opencore boot screen (not clover, i wrote wrong)

But when i click to MacOS this is only what I got.(second picture) Is there any way to land to terminal view like linux and make changes via commands?

PR files are problem reporting files. Several guides demands specific PR file set. At the first post of this guide, the required PR files is listed.

Getting black screen on monitor , looks like to display getting pushed.

AMD 6900xt is working great in Big Sur however anytime I try to do HEVC transcoding in compressor or sending iMessage video the system would stall 50% of the time. On Monterey beta 5 it works 100% of the time. However, if I use HDMI to my TV + display port then on wake from sleep it would have a black screen until I remove HDMI and replugin display port. I have tried using this with and without Whatevergreen and both have the same issue. Any suggestions?

Do you mind sharing your config.plist. I have the same setup but ending with blackscreen.

I just got a 6900xt and I tried doing a fresh install with open core of big sur 11,6.
I got a lot working (imessage airdrop ... etc) except the GPU.
I was with the SMBIOS imac18,3, I tried switching to macpro7,1 and finally to iMac Pro1,1 (lost airdrop there I think).
I follow your guide and added the "agdpmod=pikera" in the "add" section of NVRAM in the config.plist. I attached most of what I could in the PR files.
Did I miss something in the guide, the 6900xt still not working.

What's your GPU manufacturer and in which slot you have installed?
