I followed the guide but IOMMU is disabled because it doesnt boot when enabled and I am trying to install MacOS Ventura. Can you show me which configuration is incorrect?

Attach your BIOS Settings and EFI.

Hello guys i started to test my Asus Vivobook 16 pro Ryzen 5800H.
The big problem was ACPI but i did it and was able to install Catalina! i decided to start with this!

Now problem is i can`t make NootedRed.kext to work.
and yes laptop use only EFI boot mode , ram is 2G to GPU and resizing bar is disabled !

i tried different versions one give me black screen after it loads.
Other give me kernel panic.

I do use last open core and kext`s updated with OCAuxiliaryTools.

Is anyone can give me some working version of this kext maybe with right combination with lilu to test ?

P.S i was thinking to test Proxmox on the laptop and to try to Gpu-pass Vega grafics and test like this
Cos on my main PC Ryzen 3900X i use OSX with Radeon 580 GPU perfectly like this virtualized !

Just saw on the nootinc.github.org site

Catalina doesn't work with NRed on my computer; I get stuck on a black screen or restart after black screen​

Damm i`m downloading now bigsur app to try to install it ! will update soon !

got it to work with bigsur!



Youtube 1080p works very good ! , Valley benchmark OpenGL works, HDMI out work , HDMI sound not work for me -> maybe will need to try some other version i got downloaded many!

For my laptop i used a Ryzen unlock-tool to set some variables in bios ( from original UEFI not possible)

I am running a laptop with ryzen 5 3500u cpu and 8 gigs of ram. Due to WhateverRed.text Apu graphics are now able to work on hackintosh. I was trying to install big sur on my laptop but i get OCB: Load IMage Failed error. before this i tried installing via opencore release version to install ventura and there, after booting via USB it showed three things:

a gear image with hack.dmg(the name entered for usb)

windows

openEFI shell

After i click on hack.smg it hangs and nothing happens.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! other people on the hackintosh subreddit have achieved results with the same specs.

Yes, its recommended to update to latest. At least Big Sur.

What is working and what not for now?

1.WiFi 6 and Bt card using mediatek chipset no drivers for MacOS for the moment!

2.Chrome based browsers hw acceleration need to be disabled, Safari works perfect!

3.For me OpenCL is not fully working Geekbench 5 is crashing on it and metal score is very low ~ 16!

4.OpenGL works perfect!

5.Tuchpad works perfect!

6. Battery indicator and brightness control works!

7.Microfone is not working!

Overal system is very useful only problem i have is metal is very slow and sometimes UI freezes a little!
The same is on big sur and monterey!

Works quite well at our end. No crashes in Geekbench or any other App as reported by the community members.
