Hello,

I tried to follow up the guide from https://elitemacx86.com/threads/how-to-fix-broadcom-wifi-on-macos-sonoma-and-later.1415/ but since it's my first time. It looks like I messed it up. From my understanding, I should only do the legacy part, nothing more.

My Specs:

Mobo: MSI Z87-G45 GAMING
CPU: Intel i7-4770K
RS 580 2048sp flashed to RX 570
BCM4331 on PCI-E
Yes, that's right. Just pick the Legacy part and the rest instructions will be the same. Why a duplicate thread though?

Hey, regarding the thread, I didn't want to post there and create off topic to my case.

I did it step by step just like it is in the guide, but no luck sadly.

Edit: I also noticed that after I applied kexts and config plist changes, the Wi-Fi isn't enabling as in the guide. It's gray out.

Looks good.

Now, run OCLP and you should be good to go. If already patched, revert and then try. Also, post the Hackintool PCIe info.

Hey, no luck with it. What else could go wrong? I think it's time to order AX200NGW

Did you run OCLP?
Yes, of course.

I decided to remove AMFI.Pass.kext removed and I only keep amfi=0x80

Should I just try to download all kexts from here https://github.com/dortania/OpenCor...8cb36e81a974bc6b4c27c7807/payloads/Kexts/Wifi and run the OCLP again?

Edit:
Download corecaptureElCap.kext and IO80211ElCap.kext.
I noticed that there was some changes in the files last month and the guide at the forums refers to not existing files.

Looks like that's the newest one.

Yes, do that and check what happens.

I think I tried everything and still it doesn't work as it should. No idea what is wrong.

I decided to check exactly what kind of model of BCM I have and it turns out it's not 4331 but 94331CSAC.

So according to the guide, I revert the patch, applied the changes as in the guide, patched and still nothing.

The last thing I could think of would be to format and install again the OS.

I honestly don't know anymore what could be wrong.
I also tested if the adapter or card is working properly and it turns out it does. I installed some Lenovo WiFi driver and I have fully working WiFi on Win10 x64 so that means that setup works just fine.

After taking multiple attempts and failing, I think I have to try out Catalina and see if that will work. That network card is native supported.
