5GHz WiFi on a native Apple card doesn't work properly

Couldn't boot without it last time I checked.

Well, that's weird. Did you remove the other kext i mentioned?

On 200 series, I've booted Ventura without having this boot arg.

I had that arg there for a while, not sure if it was Ventura that didn't want to boot.
Was probably Big Sur.

Big Sur even booted without that. At least it was never used at our end for our test builds.

Well this is what happens when I boot without it

I guess that its just cosmetic tho

I meant, macUSPCIO_I801.kext, not the SATA. Although, it's just cosmetic and can be achieved using Device Properties or DSM injection. Moreover, as far as I'm aware, there isn't any Intel 20 Series Chipset, but 200 which includes a typical B250, H270, Q250, Q270, Z270 and X299, X299X for HEDT.

Well, still getting the same issues after removing those kexts, boot arg and enabling the BT quick & debug

Should I try AirportBrcmFixup again?

Well, now it's time to narrow down the issue.

- Remove all the peripherals connected, either internal or external. Make sure no other device is connected to the system, such as Speakers or phones to avoid conflicts.
- Append all the changes as advised in Post #81.
- Make sure the OC, kexts are the latest.

If the above doesn't fix the issue, try the following

- Disable SIP.
- Backup your data and do a clean install of macOS Monterey. Make sure to erase the whole drive, not just the macOS partition. This will tell us, whether a bug is being exposed to Ventura as originally there is no such issue reported so far for Ventura.

I had this issue ever since I got my first 5GHz card.
So like, macOS Big Sur.
I just didn't really try to fix it back then as I wasn't using 5GHz for anything, but now that I have an iPad, I kinda want to use Sidecar + AirDrop is sometimes useful
