Hi there
I have a Lenovo Ideapad z500 laptop with core I7 3632qm and intel hd4000 + Nvidia gt635m.
Is there any chance to install Hackintosh on this?
can I use my GeForce graphics card in it? I saw a video that they could use Nvidia graphics card using QEMU/KVM in Linux on a desktop PC, is it possible for a laptop?
I have tested several times to install Mac OS Mojave last summer but it got stuck during installation, finally, I installed Niresh Mojave on it successfully but it couldn't detect intel hd4000 or Nvidia graphics and audio so I have to find a way to install Hackintosh

Start here:

Yes, the CPU and Graphics are supported.

thank you so much
should I erase the entire drive for this? or I can just format a partition on it and let other partitions be there?
if I erase the entire drive my windows will be removed.

and for disabling discrete graphics when should I do DSDT and SSDT patching? after Hackintosh installation or before? if after so should I disable it from BIOS during installation?

You're welcome

That's the preferred. However, you must backup your data before proceeding.

You can do this too.

It's a postinstall task

Lenovo offers the GPU switching from the BIOS. If it's not available, disable it via ACPI patching.

thanks
so I go do the test with a single partition, not entire disk if it fails I'll try the entire disk. I prefer to disable with patching as I'll use windows and Linux with MacOS

Okay, sure.

Okay, sure.

I tried to make a bootable USB of Catalina on VMware but in the stage of clover bootloader, it doesn't create EFI partition on USB and just puts an EFI folder inside installation USB partition.
how should I do to fix this?

Clover doesn't creates any EFI partition. The Createinstallmedia command does. So, when you prepare the bootable USB, a EFI partition is already made. When installing Clover, Clover will just place the EFI folder in your EFI partition.

Make sure you're using the latest build of the Clover from the forum.
