Hello,

OpenCore 0.9.1
ASUS VivoMini U65
i7 6500U / Skylake
Intel HD520
Mac OS 13.3.1 Ventura
HDMI Screen

For compatibility reasons (XCode) i need my hackintosh to run Ventura, so i had to spoof my GPU like described here: https://elitemacx86.com/threads/how...0-550-and-580-on-macos-ventura-and-later.928/

Now i got the problem, that my display does not work after booting up. After the apple logo loading screen i see the login screen flickering for a second and then the display gets no more signal and the screen switches off. When i disconnect and reconnect the HDMI cable everything (i need at the moment) works fine.

Please have a look at the attached files and give me a hint where my problem is.

Thank you very much.

Incomplete PR Files attached.

- Kextcache output is missing.
- IOReg must be saved using the App, not text format.
- Provide the screen resolution and refresh rate information.

Hello and thanks for your reply.
i hope you find all missing information in the attachments - if not, please give me instructions where/how to get the missing information.

Seems like you have followed the guide incorrectly. You're having a Laptop but using the Desktop ig-platform id and device-id.

Secondly, iMac is a poor choice for your hardware. Use MacBookPro14,1 or later.

hy, thanks for pointing out that my i7-6500u is a mobile cpu. i wasn't aware for this because the asus vivomini is a desktop format mini computer.
now i changed my ig-platform-id to 00001B59 but dont know what to change device-id to, as the guide just gives fixed value of 16590000 without dependance of cpu type.

i tried with ig-platform-id=00001B59 and device-id=16590000 but the same error still here: display switches off when showing login screen after boot.

please tell me how to go on.

you'll find my changed config in the attachment.

Oh, I wasn't aware of that. In that case, use a Macmini SMBIOS.

Also, provide a picture of your system containing the output ports.

see photos in attachment. i'll try with macmini smbios next.

Reconnect the HDMI and provide the IOReg.

Hy,

as my display only supports hdmi, all ioreg files i sent yet, were taken after i reconnected hdmi. i attached a new one; this one was taken after reboot and reconnecting the hdmi port.

i also did some tests with an displayport-hdmi converter cable today (smbios macmini):
- booting up with displayport connected via converter leads to just showing opencore boot menu following some verbose/debug output. but i dont ever see the apple logo loading screen or the login screen.
- booting up with hdmi connected, then reconnecting hdmi and finally connecting to the displayport converter cable brings no signal to my screen. i did the same test earlier (with smbios imac18) my result was a pinkish screen.
