Hi!

Which PR files do you actually need?

By the way, I fugured out that vt-d still doens’t show up in IOReg.

Even If I :
enabled VT-d in the BIOS (latest version)
disable Thunderbolt Vt-d security in BIOS -> BTW, is it relevant?
removed dart=0 from Boot arg,
unchecked disable iomapper in my Clover config (see attached)

Still no AppleVTD...

So I also tried to take out the drop DMAR table, as mentionned by CaseSJ on TonyMacx...

But when I do so, my hack doesn't boot anymore and show this (see attached).

Any idea what's wrong?

BTW, I have 2 Corsair Vengeance LPX Series Low Profile 32 Go (2x 16 Go) DDR4 2666 MHz CL16 in SLOT A1 & B1

Many thanks for your help!
No PR files attached. Check the Thunderbolt Hotplug guide below to attach the required PR files.

Hello Guys.
I tried to get my Orion Studio Synergy Core running on my Intel NUC 8I7HVK HAdes Canyon with no success.

I m running MAC OS Catalina 10.15.7 on it.
BY the way…. The NUC was set up by DSM2.

I want it to run via Thunderbolt 3.

I didn’t understand your guide completly.

Can anyone tell me more about how to get the Antelope Interface run with Thunderbolt 3 on my NUC.

One Example: I don’t have this Entry:
5. From Boot args, remove "dart=0." in my Boot args.

Thanks a lot.

The guide describes it all. First you need to have a Thunderbolt working and then just follow this guide.

It's very clear. If you have dart=0 from Boot Args, remove that. If your boot arg does not have it, simply ignore.

Hi,
Thanks for your advices !!.
I struggled a lot before finding the right configuration, I even went through the flash bios box of my Asus thunderboltEX3 with a CH341usb ...
After going back to the original bios (nvm26), I finally found the TB3 SSDT that I modified at the address RP17 according to your procedure.
Also find the correct bios setup.
I could install my Antelope discrete 8 Synergy Core via Thunderbolt on my Hakcintosh Catalina.

My configuration:
Asus Prime Z390-A
Intel core I5 9400F
Asus ThunderboltEX 3 (nvm26) in slot 3 (x4 in bios !! Important because it’s X2 for slot 3 with load optimized bios F5)
Firewire pci card FW400 / 800
32GB XMP DDR4 2666mhz
Samsung 970 pro 250GB NVME SSD (Mac OS)
Crucial SSD mx500 500GB x2 (one for User / home, one for Session Studio)
2.5 "SATA 1TB HDD (Time machine)
AMD RX 560 4GB
Antelope discrete 8 synergy core (thunderbolt)
MOTU 8PRE (Firewire) and ADAT-> Antelope D8SC.

- Hot-plug Thunderbolt work !!
- AFX2DAW work !!

Happy New Year to you
THX

Edit :
You will find in the attached zip file the "patched" folder the files to copy to your uefi / clover / acpi / patched folder. TB3 file (thunderbolt) is written for address RP17.
Please follow the procedure on this thread to change the address if yours is different.

Will it works on pci lacie firewire 400? it's necessary to have a thunderbolt pci-e card and a firewire to thunderbolt cable? It's not possible to make it works on firewire connection directly?

You can install a FW Card and can connect the FW Devices directly.

Thank you for the answer. So this guide it's not only for firewire to thunderbolt connection but it will works also for directly conenction. That's will be good for me since in Monterey I cannot have audio output from Saffire Liquid 56.

Yes, of course.

Hello! I am in desperate need of some help getting my Antelope Discrete 8 Pro SC working over TB3 with my hackintosh. I have a UA Apollo that I have tested hotplug with (and it works), but have not had luck with the Antelope. I've enabled Vt-d and TB in my BIOS, but I'm not having any issues with networking.. So do I still need to do the DMAR section? Also, I'm still not seeing the Antelope interface.
