News Now you can use Antelope, PreSonus, Slate Digital, Focusrite and Apogee Thunderbolt Audio Interface and NAS on Custom PC Builds and Laptops with macOS

I had to sign up and congratulate you all, this is fantastic news! I will wait for a public release, but I am incredibly excited and grateful for all of your hard work. I've got an Antelope Orion Studio rev. 2017 connected USB 2.0 to a 2010 Mac Pro 5,1 12-core 3.3Ghz. My flashed Titan Ridge is collecting dust as I have not been able to use it and had given up hope that someone would find a solution. I may get a few more years out of this ol' thing after all.

I'll be watching this thread, cheers!
You don't have to worry now. The wait is finally over now!
The development phase is almost completed and we're working on the last stage of the development before it gets public :)

Hi, it's great to hear this news, by God I've been waiting for this for a long time, I only have words of thanks for you, "WHAT A GREAT JOB"
I have a professional studio and I work with different Hadware before buying my Orion Studio Synergy Core,
but after many attempts to connect thunderbolt 3 to my hackintosh without any luck, I decided to connect it via usb and the truth is that it is perfect for usb. but i am missing a lot of things that thunderbolt 3 can benefit my work. Anyway, I leave my team characteristics to be a tester. thank you thank you and thank you.
Orion Studio Synergy Core
intel core i7 3.7 6 cores
gigabyte Z390 Designare

Yes, USB is somehow capped. Thunderbolt is preferred over USB.
Anyway, I leave my team characteristics to be a tester. thank you thank you and thank you.

Congratulations to the developers, this is an eagerly anticipated breakthrough. Looking forward to the release so I can full use my Antelope Discrete 8 as intended. I use an Apollo 8 on Titan Ridge (built-in) and just ordered an Alpine Ridge card. Eager to try both.

Congratulations to the developers
Thank you!

We have tested Discrete 4 and Discrete 8 and it works as expected.

Both Alpine Ridge and Titan Ridge works absolutely fine and that too with Hotplug!
Eager to try both.
A pre-release is available to selected members on request. Refer to post #2 for additional details.

My most sincere congratulations to the developers for this great feature adding to hackintosh. This was one of the most awaited thing for which we all have been waited for this long. I have had a somewhat unpleasant experience, although finally and not entirely happy. My Antelope Orión studio is working with my hackintosh, I had some problems on Big Sur which was a bug, notified to me from the devs and i was suggested to roll back to Catalina. The developers are still working on bug. With Catalina, everything works great. I have full Hotplug functionality, i can connect and disconnect my Antelope Orion Studio and it works every time. I checked recording and playback and it works without any issue. I have also tested every sample rate and did latency tests and i had zero issues. Although I have to say that I was already very used to working with Big Sur, it had my programs and plugins and obviously I do not rule out the possibility of being able to update once the developers find a solution. But again and again bravo and bravo for this great job. I'm happy with the results as i can use my Antelope with my system.
