Sounds good. Flashing can be dangerous.Unfortunately this BIOS still has the whitelist
And I am not willing to flash another modded BIOS until someone can confirm that it’s going to work with this laptop.
I did however, read somewhere that taping 2 pins on the card (one for WiFi and another one for Bluetooth) will allow the laptop to boot with it.
So I’ll try that
Rebranding can work.Well, that won’t work
So my only options rn are to either somehow rebrand the wireless card
Or
Ditch macOS and just install Windows or Linux on it
Sure.Well, I tried to get OpenCore running on this laptop with a newer macOS (because High Sierra isn't supported by Apple anymore), and it didn't work.
So, I will install another OS on it instead.
I really don't want to run an OS that doesn't get security updates if I have other options.
So this will be the end of this thread probably.
I will post my EFI folder and the file I used to restore the BIOS on this laptop in a bit, just so other people will be able to experiment with it if they want to.
But for now, I'll continue trying to get Bluetooth working on the Broadcom card I have in my main Hackintosh with Big Sur.
