Hello there! I am completely new to the world of hackintoshing and figured I would reach out on this site for support. I believe you can see the specs of my computer via my profile but here is a link to the HP website just in case https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02996675. I have looked at the guides and it appears that my Sandy Bridge CPU with Intel HD 3000 graphics is indeed supported. If anyone would mind helping give me a step by step solution to getting macOS on my laptop that would be fantastic. I'm also not sure which version of MacOS my laptop can support (I've received multiple answers including Catalina and High Sierra). Furthermore, I do own a MacBook Pro with 10.15.3. Thank you for your help and I look forward to owning a hackintosh!

Without a USB-A to USB-C adapter is it possible that I could send the files over internet to my laptop and create the bootable USB from there?

Even after the file transfer, you'll need a USB to transfer the files.

I have a plain 16gb USB to plug into my laptop but there isn't a way I can plug it into my MBP.

You can use any other methods but as per the rules we do not allow such discussions here.

Gotcha. As per my question about which MacOS to run, which do you recommend according to my hardware?

If you talk about native support then Sierra. If you talk about maximum support, you can install upto Catalina.

So just plain Sierra or High Sierra for Native support?

Sierra. If you install HS or later, you'll need to patch Graphics by following extra steps.
