How to take screenshots in macOS
1. If you want to take screenshot of the entire screen, press Command + Shift + 3.
2. If you want to take screenshot of a portion of screen, press Command + Shift + 4.
3. If you want to take screenshot of the entire screen, but want to have the screenshot into your clipboard, press Command + Option + Shift + 3.
4. If you want to take screenshot of a portion, but want to have the screenshot into your clipboard, press Command + Option + Shift + 4.
That's all!
If you saved your screenshot as a file, you will find it into your desktop with a name similar to this: "Screen Shot xxxx-xx-xx at xx.xx.xx.png", otherwise you have to go where you want to paste your screenshot, and then press Command + V.
