How to get card reader working in USB 3.0 desktop panel?

So yes, it's from Intel and will not work. Any drivers from the manufacturer?

I see no drivers at the website for the product.

I was naive enough to think it would work like a regular USB card reader (like my USB 3 Kingston), and wanted the convenience of having a reader permanently installed in my desktop.

By IOReg and DPCIManager. Luckily, on my ASUS Laptop, the Card Reader works OOTB.
