Incomplete PR files attached. Kextcache Output and EFI folder is missing.
the EFI is in the previous post - I provided a kext cache out from essentials list. Im not sure how to provide the kext cache output?

To generate kextcache output, simply execute the command below in Terminal.

sudo kextcache -i/

All PR files must be submitted in a single .zip file.

thank you - I've run this command in the terminal - I can't seem to find the output destination though?

The result will be displayed in the Terminal itself. You can export it as .txt.

If the vanilla kexts are modified, this command shows what additional kexts are installed in the Library.

Your implementation for Thunderbolt HotPlug is not correct. In addition, the configuration is not as per the guide. Cleanup is required. Further, is XCPM patch working on Big Sur? As the patches are for Catalina. As per the IOReg you attached, the PM isn't working as expected. Also, MacPro7,1 is a poor choice.

thank you for looking at it -- can you be more specific about what isnt right with TB ?

are you saying the xcpm patch is not required in BS or it needs to be implemented differently?

It makes sense the PM isnt correct as its not stable - not sure how to correct it though

What SMBIOS would you suggest? I tried Mac Pro 6,1 and iMac 19,2 and it was the same

Turn off TB SSDT in your config.plist and provide a new copy of IOReg with the SSDT off.

The XCPM patch you have is limited to Catalina.

There's already a guide available here:

You should use iMacPro1,1.
