How to Enable NVRAM in Clover and OpenCore.

NVRAM is an important part of any computer system. The NVRAM stores several data such as Brightness levels even when the computer is turned off.

Since introduction of Coffee Lake CPUs, the NVRAM is missing. Following is the guide to fix NVRAM on your system.

Here is a list of system which needs NVRAM

SSDT-PMC

Clover
If you're using clover, you can add the SSDT-PMC in EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched.

OpenCore
If you're using OpenCore, you can add the SSDT-OM in EFI/OC/ACPI
Add a link to the SSDT-PMC in ACPI section of your config.plist

I’ve heard that it’s not possible to run Clover and OpenCore on the same system because of NVRAM conflicts?
I tried F11 in Clover GUI but nvram not reset, system not reboot. And im stuck when boot with OC
Nvram -c in recovery not clear nvram like it does

Btw, SSDT-PMC is like emulator nvram? In clover no need rc scripts install?
My device native nvram but i want boot clover+oc same time, i can use ssdt-pmc for Clover and leave nvram native in oc?

Correct and it is really not recommended.

Reset NVRAM using the built-in OC tool.

Yes, required for all 300 series motherboards, except for Z370.

In clover no need rc scripts install?

You can install it. It won't harm.

As mentioned above, it is required for 300 series motherboards only. Not for Broadwell.
