I followed a guide on how to install macOS Sequoia on my hardware, but I got confused about the process.

From what I understand, I need to:

  1. Create a bootable USB as usual
  2. Set up an EFI folder
  3. Download macOS Sequoia
  4. Configure CPU settings in EFI
  5. Add the necessary boot parameters
  6. Boot into the installer and install macOS on my disk
  7. Work with OpenCore Legacy Patcher only after installation
Is this the correct approach? Or do I first need to install a supported macOS version (like an older one) before working with OpenCore Legacy Patcher?

The issue I'm facing is that I can only install macOS High Sierra. When I try to install a newer macOS version with all the parameters from the guide, I get a black screen when launching the installer.

What could be the issue, and how should I proceed?

The above steps seems to be fine.

Attach your EFI to check!

Yes, it will.
Yes I am have the same question because I have installed the patches following the steps and right now I am sitting with a dark screen after the Hackintosh Boots. What Can I Do To Resolve This? I am currently running Ryzen 5 3600 and GTX 1070 as well.
