OS : BigSur 11.5.2 (Followed Dortania Guide to build Catalina and after that i upgraded it to 11.5.2 directly from catalina latest version)

Well , i tried almost everything with all guides i found on internet , but i can not get my audio working.

I have tried voodooHDA (installed in S/L/E with SIP disabled and allowed from security )as well but somehow its only shows 3 Digital(HDMI) as output with no audio in all three with no input (mic)..... Also VoodooHda is not working great (very low volumes with infoplist changes of half volumes etc.) on my System as per my previous installation (Catalina 10.15.7).

My Laptop has 2 Audio cards 1. as the card0 intel HD Audio Controller
2. as the card1 Realtek 3234 (ALC255) , and i don't know how to deal with this , Whole system is working fine except this Audio. Also i have tried to disable the Intel card 0 as adding device property with Pci as external audio as per the dortania guide (multiple audio controller)... but no output.

i don't know How to manual patch AppleHDA or ALC or DSDT .

please help me with this ,

For Laptops, it's mandatory to patch ACPI.

Ok , I will try with this shared link's guide , and report you back when i done with.

Just for your info , i used Linux with the SSDTTime from github (https://github.com/corpnewt/SSDTTime) for creation of all SSDTs that i added in OC/acpi folder.
So according to that , please suggest me whats necessary , if its needed to be

ok , i made few changes with provided guide of ACPI , and guess what Apple ALC worked with ALC255 , Problem is with Patch Plist's data , i forgot to add one more patch in config plist and after adding that its working , BUT However still 2 issues here ,

1 : Audio is inconsistent , like when you offline (no internet) play video or audio or another audio alike .... its working smooth with out any stop , But , when i am online like in wifi , example :You-Tube - Spotify , audio just stops while playing songs or track like for 5-8 seconds and again get back ........in simple words as i saw on task bar in up , it shows first in built speaker and then when sound got out it shows line-out , i mean thats weird !

2 : i have tried all layout id but headphone's mic is not detecting or working . adding more my laptop has no mic & camera , so i have no idea about internal inbuilt mic , and because of that i want my headphone's mic to be working. and in each layout id of 255 , it shows audio line in / inbuilt line in (which i don't have).

please tell me whats the solution for this , what i am doing wrong ?

Install CodecCommander.kext

For some Audio Codecs, depending on the Laptop, you'll need to use Custom Configuration.

Sorry for very late report , but past few days are very busy for me , but i am back with the report ,

-> After install codec commander kext , i got the audio working properly with headphones and speaker as well, However some rare time the distortion starts but after kext cache reset and restart , it came back to normal ; Weird thing is if i shutdown for 5 mins only and power on again : audio works but if i shut down tonight and turn on tomorrow morning : audio gone ; however just after kext cache reset and restart : audio works .............over all yes audio works perfect with some weird small ignorable issues.

-> Problem is as i said earlier..... microphone is not working , can you please guide me how to make custom config file for microphone.

My Laptop is : DELL Inspiron 5558 with 8gb ram Nvidia 920m(disabled by boot-arg) , intel i3-4005u.

You'll need to patch ACPI+SSDT for Audio.
