For Ivy Bridge and older, you'll need to create the CPU-PM SSDT using ssdtPRGen script from PikeRAlpha

Selecting a config.plist File

OpenCore comes with default config.plist file. This config.plist cannot be used to boot most of the systems. You'll need to configure the config.plist according to your hardware, mainly the Quirks. Each System has a different set of Quirks which is required for booting. Therefore knowing your hardware is very important. In addition, you may need to configure Graphics and other PCIe devices in order to boot.

We've already created a separate thread on configuring your config.plist to boot the installer. Depending on your hardware, configure the config.plist according to the guide. Depending on the Platform and CPU you have, select the appropriate config.plist building guide.

I set up de config.plist as indicated, but when i try to restart my laptop from the USB support, this is what I obtained.




Can you understand, from this two screen, where is the problem?

What macOS version are you trying to boot?

Also, have you created the Bootable USB?

i'm triyng to install "latest version".
I prepared the USB with rufus as indicated in page 1, but right now i'm reading here:



and there seems to be some information missing.
Do I have to do any intermediate steps?
I formatted the USB with rufus:
-not bootable
-fat32
etc etc
Set the config.plist
copied the kexts and all

What is missing?
