Yeah, I am using the one that came with the laptop.
Nice.
Already using layout-id 13.
Then check with Layout ID = 77
Should I update to the latest OpenCore? (0.8.2->0.8.3)
Updating will not help in this case.
Removed the drivers you said.
No PR files attached.
Also the speakers are detected as headphones and the output menu in system preferences says headphone port.
Which speakers? Can you explain more about your Audio setup?

So when I connect my speaker to the headphone/microphone jack it gets detected as a headphone and not a speaker (I don't know if this matters).

Speakers? Which speakers? Note that regardless of the Audio device, either a Speaker, Headphone, or Earphone, if having a 3.5mm jack, when plugged, it will recognize as Headphones under OS X/macOS. This is because it detects the jack type, not the type of device you use. On Desktops, the rear ports do have a Speaker type.

It's a 3.5mm jack I think. Standard laptop plug. It's an external DTK computer subwoofer/speaker set with a jack plug. But it's not the speaker is faulty because it works under Windows and also headphones do the same in macOS.

Also, layout id 77 makes it worse. Now it's just static noise coming, and also the internal microphone always shows input but there is no sound.

The possible Layout IDs are: 1, 3, 13, 14, 15, 21, 22, 23, 24, 28, 77

Try Layout ID=13 and add CodecCommander.

Also, a dedicated guide is available for this issue

Thank you so much! It worked! The sound is as clean as on Windows.
I have a question. Is there any way to get an Intel Smart Sound microphone working? I can open a thread for it if that's better.
Thank you again for your help. Marking as solved.
