AMD RX 7900 XTX macOS Support

I've already bought one from Gigabyte - RX7900 XTX ))) If there is no support, I will buy a second card for macOS. Any RX550 or 560.

Yes, that would be a good workaround for now :)

That sounds good, but I am wondering, is there a way to use RX550 for Ventura, and another unsupported GPU (7900xt for example) for Windows, without needing to change the display connector from one gpu to another depending on the OS you want to boot?

Yes, it's possible.

Yes, it's possible.
Good!, I have been thinking about that, in my case I have 2 monitors, each one with multiple inputs so I can connect both GPUs to the same monitor and let it select the active output on each reboot, but, what were you thinking about? Would it be possible to do it with just one cable? I would like an explanation of the available method if it exists.

I observed different cases of users having 2 GPUs, generally one compatible OOB and another more powerful but incompatible. I don't understand what is the method to connect them to the displays.

If it works it seems a pretty decent workaround to have any GPU even a 4090 working with ventura, the only downside is the extra wattage, but if the compatible one is a low-medium range, it seems something negligible.

Of course the aim would be dual boot in windows for gaming and day to day in macOS without too much hassle tinkering with cable changing, specially knowing how brittle are DP and HDMI connectors.

Thanks!

Possible. If the RX550 works OOTB, you don't need to configure anything extra. However, if not, you may need to spoof the GPU.

It's simple. Find the ACPI path of the unsupported GPU and disable it so that it does not load under macOS and continue using the supported one.

I don't think there will be support for any new AMD card. Sad story for me.....
:(
